About the Initiative

Braided Medicine™ is a cultural wellness and immersion initiative rooted in traditional knowledge, botanical exploration, restorative practices, and cross-cultural dialogue.

Developed through ongoing research, documentation, and lived experience in Tanzania, the initiative explores how wellness traditions, plant knowledge, movement, sound, ritual, and community practices continue to shape healing-centered spaces across cultures.

Through thoughtfully curated experiences, participants are invited into environments centered on reflection, learning, cultural exchange, and wellness exploration.

Select experiences and immersion activities are hosted in collaboration with AIM Tanzania Company Limited at AIM Lodge and affiliated locations in Tanzania.

About The PRogram founder

Stacey Scott-Msaki

Stacey Scott-Msaki is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and manual therapy with formal training in acupuncture, herbal studies, and integrative wellness education. She is also a classically trained chef and holds an MBA.

As co-founder of AIM Tanzania Company Limited, she leads hospitality, retreats, and wellness initiatives in northern Tanzania. Braided Medicine Institute reflects her long-term commitment to structured education development, responsible documentation of traditional knowledge, and academic collaboration across systems of medicine.
